Steven Cartoccio, known professionally as Concrete Jungle, is a sculptor and animator from New York, currently based in Jersey City. He studied at the Art Student’s League before enrolling at the School of Visual Arts, where he created Concrete Jungle—an animated series exploring a world where humans and animals coexist in New York City.
Steven is best known for his collectible sculptures created in collaboration with hip-hop legends including Nas, Outkast, Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, Redman, and The Notorious B.I.G., among many others. His work merges fine art craftsmanship with hip-hop culture,comic book mythology, and urban storytelling.
